    • See one of Aberdeen’s largest stone circles.

      The East Aquhorthies Stone Circle is an ancient monument that dates back to the Neolithic period. It consists of 9 standing stones and is one of the largest stone circles in Aberdeenshire. You’ll have the opportunity to walk amongst the stones and learn more about their significance.

    • Explore the charming Castle Fraser.

      Castle Fraser is a grand 16th-century castle that gives visitors a taste of life in Scotland’s upper class during the 19th century. You’ll get to explore the castle’s rooms, gardens and grounds and learn about its past.

The day trip will depart from the William Wallace Statue, which is just a 10-minute walk from Aberdeen Train Station. There is parking nearby at NCP Aberdeen Ruby Lane if you are coming by car.
